Whole fruit dried Ethiopian coffee is pure magic and we are happy to have one back for Mr. Pink

This version of Mr. Pink comes from Habtamu Fikadu Aga, a coffee producer and exporter based in the Guji region, in Uraga and its surroundings.

This lot has the fruity depth, floral delicacy, and clear yet gentle acidity that make coffees dried from whole fruits in Ethiopia's Guji region so special.

Producer story

Habtamu Fekadu Aga's passion for coffee began when his grandfather, Mr. Aaga Dinsa, invited him to join him on his plantations to share his knowledge about his farm in Kuri Kebele.

The family continued to work in the coffee industry, and in 2015, Habtamu founded his own company, focusing on new regions, including Guji and Jimma. In order to maintain consistent quality, Habtamu is fully committed to training producers.

For Habtamu, education and the equitable distribution of wealth are essential. Independent producers receive a premium during harvest (1 to 2 birrs more than the market price) as well as profits from sales.

During harvest, Habtamu provides accommodation and meals for pickers. Throughout the year, producers are trained in organic harvesting and processing.

This batch is composed of fruit purchased from 116 farmers near the village of Koba. For their work, producers receive a premium from Habtamu, as well as training and agronomic support. It is composed of a blend of Arabica 74112, 74110, and heirloom varieties and cultivars.
